Understanding Buildings and Relationships for Success
The goal of this presentation is to provide firefighters with a foundational understanding of what to look for before and during an incident concerning building systems. Participants will learn various strategies for gathering information and fostering relationships to enhance their operational effectiveness. By the end of the session, firefighters will achieve an “awareness level” of these systems, including their potential impact on fireground tactics, safety considerations, and how to prepare for and manage the systems present in these structures.
